Keller Williams Referred Realty's Heart Beats RED!

The acronym RED stands for Renew, Energize and Donate which describes the purpose of RED Day. Every year on the second Thursday in May, tens of thousands of Keller Williams Realty associates from across Canada and the US spend the day donating their time and resources to a wide range of local volunteer projects designed to renew and energize aspects of the community.
 
On Thursday May 12, 2011, associates with Keller Williams Referred Realty will celebrate RED Day by helping two local charitable organizations: Wychwood Open Door and Humewood House.
 
Wychwood Open Door has been providing homeless and socially isolated people with guidance, food, friendship and support since 1986, and operates out of St. Matthews United Church. On RED day, Keller Williams Referred Realty associates and friends will be painting St.Matthews kitchen and dining hall to provide a clean and welcoming environment for those who frequent the space.

Humewood House is a Young Parenting Resource Centre, which offers young moms and soon to be moms residential services, life skills training, childcare, education and counselling. RED day volunteers will be painting, cleaning and gardening at Humewood House to make the gardens and building beautiful for the young moms and babies that come to the Parenting Resource Centre for help.
 
Keller Williams Referred Realty welcomes support from the broader community in this endeavour. You may be a past or current client of one of our realtors, an area resident, or just someone who is eager to help. Whatever way you choose to get involved, every little bit counts. RED Day is devoted to bringing communities closer together through heartfelt acts of service. Those acts don’t stop with the brokerage. Please join us in our effort to better the community!
 
Keller Williams Referred Realty will be accepting various kinds of donations to support and compliment our RED activities. While cash donations are always welcome, on May 10th and 11th the brokerage will also be collecting non-perishable food, toiletries, diapers, clothing, books and other items. Please refer to the list of attached items that the company hopes to assemble. For your convenience Keller Williams Referred Realty will be collecting items at both our St. Clair and Duncan Mill locations. Of course, donations of time are also precious. Keller Williams Realty is comprised of individuals who have come together to work as a team for the greater good. RED Day is an event that is emblematic of the spirit of the company.
